Halo Effect Softball Tour signs Easton to title sponsorship
(March 17, 2022) – The CG Sports Company announced today that Easton Sports, a longtime sponsor of its client, softball Olympian Haylie McCleney, has signed to be the title sponsor of McCleney’s new clinic tour.
The Halo Effect Softball Tour presented by Easton will visit cities nationwide over the next two years, connecting elite-level players to the sport’s grassroots enthusiasts. It is the top camp in the country delivered by an active professional player. It covers all aspects of the game – from offensive and defensive tactics to skills and strategy to strength conditioning and mental preparedness.
An outfielder for Team USA, McCleney led the United States to silver in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She was a part of the winning world championship teams in 2018 and 2016 and the gold-medal Pan American team in 2019. She was a four-time All-American at the University of Alabama, graduating in 2016. Easton has sponsored her since 2017.
"Easton's support has been there from the start of my professional career, and now, through their sponsorship of the Halo Effect Softball Tour, they are showing their commitment to not only me but athletes at the developmental level, too. I couldn't be more proud to have their name next to mine on this project," McCleney said.
The Halo Effect tour opened with a two-day stop in Dayton, Ohio, in February and next will visit Warwick, Rhode Island, April 30-May 1, and Severn, Maryland, on May 6-7. Softball players ages 9-12 and 13&up can register online for the event using this link.
